What's so hectic?
Let's just say, as everyone else does, that we have our hands full. Our family started growing in 2009 and hasn't stopped since. We currently have 8 kids. Human children, not goats (YET!). When you add in a full time job, full time homeschoolers, FULLTIME parents, and all the other homesteading duties including chickens, seed saving, baking bread, canning food, mini farming, and various other survival/self sufficiency tasks... life can be a bit crazy. What a lot of people don't understand is that just because its hard, doesn't mean its bad. There is a lot to be happy about, even more to be hopeful for. Our little slice of life rests in the suburbia of south central Pennsylvania. You'd be surprised just how much can be done on just over half and acre. Join us on our Christ led journey to self sufficiency, food independence, and the joyous simple living so many of us long for.
