Regardless of all our labor, regardless of our techniques and our tricks, in the end God is the one who is sovereign. There are a lot of reason for homesteading, health, food independence, preparedness. But, everyone of those things is temporal. It doesn't matter if you survive the apocalypse or live until your 150 years old if you do not know, obey, and worship Christ. It's all for naught.
